What do I do if I don't know where to start?
Feeling overwhelmed and unsure about next steps is completely normal. We're here to guide you through the process. Give us a call at 610-968-1687, and we'll walk through your concerns together. Even if our services aren't the right match for your situation, we'll provide helpful guidance during your initial phone consultation to point you in the right direction. Can I trust someone in my/my family's home?
We're committed to delivering exceptional service every single day. Each caregiver on our team is chosen with care, selected for their integrity, reliability, honest character, dedication to quality care, consistent attendance, and alignment with our core values and mission. How do I convince my loved one to get help?
It's natural for older adults to have concerns about accepting help at home. Many worry that assistance means losing their independence. During our assessment, we'll discuss how our services actually support their goal of staying in their own home. We'll also reassure them that we're here to help, not to take control of their life.Do I have to sign a contract?
No contract is required. You're free to discontinue our services whenever needed with 10-14 days' notice, depending on which program you've selected. What if I go to the hospital?
We continue to communicate with you and your family throughout your hospital stay. We can help navigate the system, serve as your patient advocate, coordinate with your doctors, nurses, case managers, rehabilitation centers, and discharge planners to ensure you have the information needed to make informed decisions about your care, so you can return home with confidence. What happens if I need more care in the future?
We offer flexible scheduling to meet your needs. Whether you need one-hour visits or extended hours, even up to 24/7, we will work closely with you and adjust your care plan as needed to ensure you receive the care you need to Nest In Place.Do I need a medical exam or doctor's prescription for your service?
No medical examination or physician's referral is necessary to use our services. You can continue seeing your current doctor. If you'd prefer a provider who makes home visits, we're happy to recommend local medical practices that offer house calls. How is your service different from other home care agencies?
We offer high-quality, solution-based care with no hourly minimum. Whether we provide care for one hour per week or 24/7, we focus on solutions that help everyone feel supported. We also have on-call backup for every shift to ensure your loved one receives the care they depend on, and we use a communication platform that provides timely care updates and real-time communication directly with the caregiver. What if we need someone in our home 24/7?
We do serve clients who require 24/7 support. When we accept a 24/7 case, our top priority is reliable caregiver coverage for all requested hours, with backup coverage in case a caregiver is unable to attend their shift. We can discuss your specific needs during your initial phone consultation. How is your service different from an assisted living/personal care home?
Our goal is to support each client in living independently at home for as long as it is safe and rewarding to do so. When circumstances change and a higher level of care becomes the best path forward, we are always here to navigate that conversation with honesty and compassion, offering guidance and recommendations or connecting your family with a Senior Advisor. Home care is not only the preferred choice for most families, it is also a cost-effective one. Based on our average monthly cost, clients who remain at home with Nest In Place can save thousands of dollars each month compared to the cost of residential placement.
